We are national youth Organization which consists of many Somali youth in different countries as network representing different NGOe's non governmental, non political and non- profitable.

BACKGROUND

The Somali youth organization for development and reforming,(SOYODER) non governmental was funded by a group of Somali youth in the millennium year 2000 under pretext to serve Somali social protection and engage in development and reforming activities addressed for the Somali community.

The SOYODER has a large operational coverage area in clouding all Somali regions and it has both long and short term plans to render its activities for short time
Due to the collapse of the central government of Somalia, Somalia exposed to luck of protection and lack of development as experiencing three decades of inefficiency.

In past 15 years, Somalia was engulfed by civil confrontation, which devastated whole country's in frastructure institutions similarly, many other services remained paralyzed as social direction to Peace, social service directions, democracy Human rights sense education and other social development factors.

In accordance with all those, and hence SOYODER was initiated to respond the general social setback or debacle of Somali people.

Vision

The vision of SOYODER is to looping youth leadershiping and their development encouraging them to play their role to wards haw to save comunity and countery also to fully abolish all types of abuses and enable the Somali population to enjoy their rights especially with the administration of justice, also in order to ensure equal rights for all on earth and life together in world harmoniously with peace, stability. Understanding democracy, solidarity and tolerance the SOYODER would promote and encourage for all of those.

Mission

The SOYODER would undertake activities and programs to develop and reform the community in concern over Human rights for development programs like education, health, and other significant public services responding to strategic plan of the organization,
Targeting communities of varying level and especially to the grassroots who are in dire needs for assistance.
This mission should be realized trough the realization of the fallowing goals.

· To establish peace and Human rights training to all Somali people in order to create sense of Human rights and peace importance.
· militia youth demobilization and rehabilitation through the vocational training that will help to bring long lasting permanent peace in Somali the area of SOYODER operation.
· Conducting awareness razing meetings about killing threatens with the community parties, importance of peace, life together, solidarity and tolerance.
· District level workshops for district outhrities, community leaders about the importance of peace, civil leadership and good governance.
· Promotion and developing educational system by extending literacy education and formal education
· Advocacy for the Application of the international Human rights standards with particular regard to the administration of justice in Somalia

Accomplishments of the SOYODER

It's worth to mention here that SOYODER its area of activities is well identified. SOYODER is also characterized by committed membership and working board of directors who have good experience in the field of human rights
Since its inauguration SOYODER was involved in strengthening its internal capacity in order to be able to effectively implement its program of activities that is being launched soon, this program is well identified and SOYODER has initiated a policy on found raising for it's implementation.
SOYODER officers have implemented several activities on judiciary related data collection, there are ongoing IDMA (investigation, Ducmentation, monitoring and Advocacy) activities that are being performed by SOYODER the IDMA pending cases with in SOYODER office include the following.

1. Arbitrary detention
2. Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading
treatment or punishment
3. Bad condition of prisoners
4. Violations to the principles of the juvenile justice
5. Violations to the independence of judges.

SOYODER uathorities participated many conferences , meetings ,workshopes about haw to promote and protect HR and youth leadership encouraging also their development and other signeficant issues about civil society which happened in different counteries in the world such us Lebnon,Bahrain ,Egypt and Others. we submited to the regional and international organizations and Agences the genaral situation in somalia specialy youth situation and their strick circumstance after when They listened our demination same of them decided to help somali youth.


SOYODER conducted social participatory discussions about peace education especially Somali peace building process and restore of central institution for Somalia ,good govenance,democracy, life together, understanding, solidarity, tolerance, equality of women disarmament and integrattion.and useful ideological outcomes had been gained.

SOYODER by its officers and volunteers as SOYODER seeks funds from local and international donors for the successful completion of these activities.
